Dr. Lohse was born and raised in Minnesota, where her love for animals began early on as she grew up with guinea pigs, dogs and her beloved horse, Ace. She attended Iowa State University and received bachelor's degrees in Animal Science and Spanish in 2019 before continuing on to the University of Minnesota for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, neurology, dentistry and preventative care and she is dedicated to working as a team with pet owners to keep their pets happy and healthy. Dr. Lohse is also Fear-Free Certified and is committed to making vet visits as stress-free as possible for the whole family. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Lohse is an avid rock climber, West Coast Swing dancer, hiker, skier (both the cross-country and alpine varieties) and she loves traveling with her friends and family. She has one cat named Arnie at home who she hopes to leash-train and take on climbing trips with her.
