Dr. Laura McLain received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1997. She is a certified Working Dog Practitioner through the Penn Vet Working Dog Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She was the team veterinarian for FEMA Urban Search and Rescue—Utah Task Force 1 for eight years, and provides care for search and rescue, police, and avalanche K9’s. 

She is also working on becoming a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner through the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. She is now offering pain infusions, epidurals, and PRP joint injections for treating chronic pain in pets.

Dr. McLain is a Fear Free Certified Professional. Her personal pets are Samwise, a Labrador Retriever, and Merry, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
