Managing DVM

Dr. Rebecca Conway

Dr. Conway grew up in Atlantic Canada living in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. She also lived in Miami, Florida for a few years as a teenager. She attended the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (now Dalhousie University Agricultural Campus) where she completed a Bachelor of Science in agriculture with a major in animal science. She then attended the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012. She began her career as a small animal veterinarian here in the Salt Lake Valley after graduation and has enjoyed calling Utah home ever since!

Dr. Conway grew up with horses, dogs, and cats and her love of science and veterinary medicine started at an early age. Prior to veterinary school, she enjoyed spending time with large, small, and mixed animal veterinary practitioners. During her undergraduate and veterinary degrees, she was involved in research projects involving mink, dairy cattle, and horses.

Dr. Conway feels very fortunate to be part of the team at Holladay Veterinary Hospital and strives to provide the best care for animals that she can. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. She strongly believes in the value of preventative care to the overall health and well-being of our animal family members. She recognizes how the whole team is necessary to provide compassionate and thorough care to our patients, and is humbled to have such a great team to work with!

When not helping care for her lovely patients with the team at Holladay, Dr. Conway can be found with her pack of Miniature Schnauzers, JJ, Gord, and Rupert. She also enjoys spending a lot of her spare time riding her two horses, Tony and Sta-Fetti, continuing to learn the sport of dressage. Dr. Conway also enjoys hiking, mountain biking, camping, kayaking, photography, reading, and gardening.
