Sariah
Basically since birth I’ve been in love with animals all shapes and sizes. I used to put potato bugs in my pocket to take them home as “pets” and it was a requirement that my family let me stop to say hi to any and all animals we passed. My dream job always included working with animals. When I turned 18, my family and I moved to North Carolina where I toured NC state veterinary college and that was it for me. I had to work with animals right away! I moved back to Utah where I got a job as a kennel tech at the humane society. Two months in I was promoted to animal care coordinator where I had more of a hand in medically and behaviorally caring for the plethora of animals they had. After enjoying two fabulous years there, I moved on to Holladay vet where I have loved learning how to better care for all the fur babies! I hope to eventually become a veterinary behaviorist where I can better advocate for fear free and positive reinforcement training. When I’m not at work, I enjoy music, the outdoors and hanging with my two fur children, Gertie and Tilda.
